Dr. Dorninger always celebrates the many influences that have shaped his diagnostic skills.  When it comes to management of the thyroid, the Naturopathic Endocrinology class with Dr. Dirk Powell (one of the last teachers taught by Dr. Bastyr) was critical. While having two Friday thyroid shifts at Bastyr with Dr. Powell, Dr. D realized how unique thyroid disorders and thyroid interventions need to be.  Later, Dr. D started teaching Dr. Kharazian's Mastering the thyroid class and has added his own underlying causes of hypothyroid to Dr. Kharazian''s 22 patterns of Hypothyroid.  He looks forward to sharing a 3-dimensional approach to diagnosis, treatment and management of thyroid disorders.
