Bio
"I believe in integrative and holistic medicine. My practice and clinic are focused on neurology and complex medical conditions relating to metabolic disease. I use functional medicine and my expertise in biochemistry (methylation) and physiology to help my patients get to the root cause of their symptoms through a strategic approach. The modalities (tools of my practice) I use in my practice are nutrition (diet and nutritional supplements), botanicals, environmental medicine, classical homeopathy, and hydrotherapy.
I care about you and your health story. Doctors should be great listeners and use all of our knowledge to help you find answers to your health needs. Empowering you and your child makes for stronger results and lifelong health.
Many patients come to my office after seeing many other doctors. They are scared, frustrated, and looking for answers that no one has been able to figure out. I often tell people I look at medicine like I am a detective. I strategically look for the clues that have led to the current health situation. I will work with you to figure it out, no matter how complex your health seems.
Some of the complex cases I have treated have been Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Cerebral Palsy, PVL, Global Development Delay, Angelman Syndrome, learning difficulties (ADD, ADHD, and dyslexia), sensory processing disorders, autistic spectrum disorders, digestive system disorders/disease, endocrine disorders, autoimmune disease, and mood disorders.
I use classical naturopathic medical protocols in my practice. I believe that each individual is unique and I tailor a treatment plan specific to each patient.
I treat the majority of my patients (national and international), at my main clinic in Louisville, Colorado. I run several lecture series annually. I welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with groups nationwide. If you would like me to speak to your group, contact my office to make arrangements.
My clinic offers organization, focus, and foundations to health that benefit other therapies. Although I have many modalities, I prefer to use a team approach when possible between medical doctors, occupational therapists, Anat Baniel Method practitioners, MNRI practitioners, behavioral optometrists, cognitive therapists, speech therapists, psychotherapists, acupuncturists, and other health care practitioners. I embrace the opportunity to work with your other healthcare providers in order to provide the best care possible. My goal is for you to have a team of doctors/therapists that combines our collective talents to ensure that you reach your health goals."
