Jawad Majeed, ND (also known as Dr. Jay), is a board-certified and licensed Naturopathic Doctor who provides care to his community through a Functional Medicine approach.
Dr. Jay graduated from National University of Health Sciences, an accredited 5 year Naturopathic Medical School, and completed an additional residency at the Whole Health Clinic in Lombard, IL. Working closely alongside his patients as their medical detective,
Dr. Jay helps to uncover and correct underlying imbalances and move the body towards optimal health. In his practice, Dr. Jay helps to support the innate physiological mechanisms using a whole-body approach, counseling and education, in order to help his patients reconnect with their healthiest, most authentic self.
After receiving his undergraduate degree in behavioral neuroscience from Albright College, Dr. Jay supported patients with depression, anxiety, gastrointestinal issues, and other concerns related to chronic stress at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Eastern Pennsylvania.
During this time, Dr. Jay expanded upon his love for mind-body medicine as he led his patients through mindfulness-based therapy sessions. It was the interconnectedness of the body-mind-spirit that led Dr. Jay towards a commitment to a life-long pursuit of naturopathic medicine; a system of healing that is guided by the laws of nature.
During his free time, Dr. Jay enjoys exercising, hiking with his dog, Kai, and practicing archery. With his love for plant medicine, he also enjoys creating botanical tinctures.
